The Attempters opens NEXT WEEK

Howdy!

The House opens Shawn Pfautsch's newest show, The Attempters, on March 6th!

Do you remember the film in our production of The Boy Detective Fails?
It was awesome! It was so awesome that it won a 2007 Telly Award!

The Attempters features another film by House Movie Man Lucas Merino, and I promise it's even more awesome than his last one!

And when you come to see The Attempters, you get to see House Company Member Chris Mathews doing these ridiculous things:

and boy oh boy are there more ridiculous things Chris Mathews does in The Attempters that aren't shown in these pictures!

Mother Effer, I love The House!
Rock on brothers and sisters.

I can't wait! Have a great first week of shows and I'll see you guys as soon as I possibly can.

Is the video eventually going to be posted on this blog? I remember that seeing the video for "Boy Detective" really helped sell me on seeing that play. Though in this case, I already have made a reservation.

Dear Packrat--

DUDE. Lucas did it. That's all you need to know. But even better is that it's directed by Lucas Merino *as Danny Hackles,* so he was channeling the character of the play as he did it. And did it he did. But teasers with-held, I'm glad you're coming anyway and I'll see you there.

it looks like johnny arena might also be doing something ridiculous, hmmm...

Incredibly sincere.

What Brian said.

And when can we get the soundtrack????!

I hope you guys get The Attempters' soundtrack up ASAP on here or iTunes. I saw the last show and was absolutely blown away by it. My favorite play since Valentine Victorious (which I'd love to get a soundtrack or DVD of too BTW), and the music was to die for. Don't make me die for it!

Is there any way I can get a hold of a cast bio for all of the actors in the play or at least who played who. I am writing a review for my theater class at Loyola University Chicago and I need the names of the people who played who???? Thanks
